Application Process

Thank you for your interest in The Little School!

Our admissions season for 2-3 year-olds has concluded for the 2024-25 academic year. If you are interested in enrolling a child who will be four or five years old by 9/1/24, please contact the admissions office by email for more information.

We have created the following step-by-step list to help you navigate our admissions process. Visit our FAQ page here, and please don't hesitate to contact us if you have additional questions. Please note that due to the high demand and limited number of spots available for these events, our Tours and Open Houses are only open to families with a child eligible to attend school for the 2024-25 school year.

Step 1

Sign up for a tour or open house.
Please follow this link to select and sign-up for one of our available tour dates. If you experience trouble signing up for a tour, feel free to contact us directly. Please note: due to limited capacity, we ask that your family attend only one school tour or open house per year. These are adult-only events (infants welcome).

Step 2

After your scheduled tour or open house, you will be sent a link to our online application.
The business day following our admissions events we will send a link to our online application system. You must attend an event in order to receive an application link.

Step 3

Send us your completed application before December 1st.
To qualify for September admissions, applications must be received by this deadline. As long as the December deadline is met, date of application does not impact admissions decisions.

The TK program operates on a rolling-admissions basis; however, preference is given to applications received before mid-January.

Step 4

Admission decisions are sent out in March
Our initial decisions are emailed on March 5, 2024; we are typically finished with our acceptance process by the end of March. For the TK class, we may not be finished with the acceptance process until mid-April, depending on our current students' decisions regarding kindergarten. We are committed to building balanced and inclusive cohorts of children that truly support our diverse community.  We ask that you be patient with us as we make these difficult decisions.
